AfroGaia Rising

This piece was my first dive into line art. I took an art class at the community college and we had an assignment on confident lines. I decided to create a drawing with my lines and that sent me down the rabbit hole of developing into a geometric line artist. This piece features AfroGaia - my version of mother Earth who is always watching. It symbolizes the connection between land, water, and air and the need for us to be mindful of Earth as living system.
