The Space2Inspire Internship Program is a structured creative experience designed for students seeking academic credit in art, design, film, animation, and marketing. Interns work in a professional gallery environment, gaining hands-on experience while contributing to real creative projects.
This program emphasizes mentorship, portfolio development, and industry-level workflow experience within a collaborative studio setting inspired by Earthlight and creative expression.
The Semester Project
Each intern will complete a semester-long project aligned with their internship track, in addition to contributing to ongoing gallery initiatives.
Examples include:
- Marketing campaign + analytics report
- Promotional video series
- Branding or visual identity package
- Motion graphics or animated campaign
This project serves as a portfolio-ready capstone demonstrating skills developed throughout the internship.

This is an in-person internship based at the Space2Inspire gallery and creative space.
How many hours per week are required?
Interns are expected to commit 10–15 hours per week (part-time), depending on schedule and project needs.
What is the program duration?
The internship runs from August 22 – December 18, 2026for the Fall semester.

Is this a paid internship?
No, this is an unpaid internship. However, academic credit is available for eligible Maricopa Community College students.
Who is eligible to apply?
Applicants must be currently enrolled in a Maricopa Community College and eligible to receive academic internship credit through their program.
Do I need prior experience to apply?
No prior professional experience is required; however, preferred. Applicants should have basic skills relevant to their chosen track and a strong interest in developing their creative abilities in a real-world environment.
Will I receive feedback or mentorship during the internship?
Yes. Interns will receive ongoing mentorship through regular check-ins, project feedback, and creative guidance from the Space2Inspire team to support both skill and development.
