This piece is one of my earliest collages. It symbolizes the need for opportunity for women of color. Here is the poem that goes with this collage piece titled Windows of Opportunity:
I beckon thee to see
All your possibilities revealed through me
Filled with wonder beyond the known
I am the future you must own
Across black space you must go
To embrace the color that fuels your soul
